Who Am I

“Who am I? Not the body, because it is decaying, not the mind, because the brain will decay with the body; not the personality, nor the emotion, for these also will vanish with death” – Bhagwan Ramana Maharishi

Bhagwan Ramana Maharishi was not a sage by words but a god by his virtue. He always believed that the way we live is what gives us the identity, not the body nor the emotions.  He believed and preached that it is not the Body or the Brain that will define us as they will decay. He taught people to live a life that was almost eternal.

He submitted himself to lord Arunachala, he loved every living being on earth, he was simple to the core preaching simplicity and the meaning of life. His life in Tiruvannamalai beholds the key to the treasure of happiness that is eternal.

Being a Ramana Devotee is not just having his Photograph on your desk but learning the life of bhagwan. His everyday life at Tiruvannamalai is a lesson for us. Walking on the path in which he walked everyday will make you learn how he lived. Come live in Tiruvannamalai, walk the path, know him and know who you are…

Happiness is your Nature – Bhagwan Sri Ramanar

Happiness is your Nature – Bhagwan Sri Ramanar

‘Happiness is your Nature, it is not wrong to Desire it’ – Bhagwan Sri Ramanar

Bhagwan Sri Ramana Maharishi is one of very few Legends who never travelled but has followers from all over the world. The first question that arises in our mind after hearing this is ‘How is it possible?’. It is very simple Bhagwan Ramanar wanted everyone to be Happy and lead a happy life, he never imposed any rule for his followers.

He simply told people to find their inner self which he considered God. He told the world to search God within and he said only in Happiness we can find God. When the whole world was turning topsy turvy in search of God, bhagwan simply said God is with in you, be happy do good, stay calm you will find or you will realise the God within you.

When many advised to throw everything of one’s worldly pleasures Ramanar was the only person who told it is not necessary for one to disown his happiness to find God or divinity. This simple yet great philosophy brought thousands to the divine land of Tiruvannamalai.

Tiruvannamalai is a land of serenity and peace where you will find the God within you just like Ramanar.

Bhagvan Sri Ramana Mahirishi – The Champion of Equality from Thiruvannamalai the land of Unity & peace.

Today the world is facing one of Mankind’s largest and worst ever turmoil in the name of the Coronavirus. This disaster is spread all along the world without any differences. The Many world is paralysed but the heavenly earth keeps spinning, Trees are Happy, Animals are Happy, Its raining as usual, we get to see the mountains far away and our air seems to be clear.

This has a big lesson to us. Major Chadwick an American disciple of Bhagavan once asked him ‘Do you have disciples?’ Bhagavan swiftly answered No, he further asked ‘You say we need a Guru to attain Liberation?” Bhagavan answered Yes. Both the questions and the answers seemed very contrary to one another, confused Chadwick asked Bhagvan Shri Ramana Maharishi ‘I am Confused’ Bhagavan explained him ‘What do you think brought you here such a long distance and made you remain so long? Why do you doubt? If there had been any need to seek a Guru elsewhere you would have gone away long ago.’

This answer opens up a huge ocean of philosophy, Bhagavan always said ‘Don’t search your master outside, but search within’ and that’s what Thiruvannamalai is all about. Thiruvannamalai is a Land where people realize their self, the calmness on these mountains tells every human who he is and his purpose of life.

Man was born to lead a life of equality and search himself within him, Ramana Maharishi always advocated equality in every sense, he never differentiated between his deciles, he never saw their status, colour, religion, caste or creed. Bhagavan Ramana Mahirishi lived an example for Equality.

When we see things happening around the world today we miss Bhagavan to the fullest. People who frequent to Thiruvannamalai will know the true sense of Unity and equality on every step we keep on the Girivalam path. In Thiruvannamalai everyone searches for their inner selves at the feet of Lord Arunachaleshwarar. You may find people sitting all over forgetting their Rich, Power, every worldly affair they poses.

We wish this Evil will go away soon and People come to Thiruvannamalai in search of Peace.
